A&P Falmouth Cruise Ship Facilities

As one of the few ports in the South West region with alongside facilities for cruise ships and a sheltered deepwater anchorage with purpose built landing facilities for passengers arriving by tender, A&P Falmouth has successfully marketed the port as a gateway to one of the UK’s premier tourist destinations.

In addition to cruise ships calling Falmouth on their itinerary, the port has become the home port for a growing number of cruises. The mv Van Gogh has used the port as her home for several years, details of the cruises that leave from Falmouth can be found at: www.vangoghcruises.co.uk

In recent years cruise ships have taken advantage of Falmouth’s strategic location by sailing from the Cornish port – south to the Iberian peninsula, the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands, north to Ireland, Scotland, Norway and the Baltic Sea and even west to the Caribbean.

From 2007 Falmouth will also see the start of a World cruise.
