The Port of Falmouth lies at the mouth of the river Fal in position 50°9´N , 5°2´W.

Falmouth Harbour

Approaches are shown on Admirality Charts 154 and 32. Entrance to the harbour is divided into two channels by Black Rock, a drying rock situated 3.5 cables east of Pendennis Point. Larger vessels use the Eastern Channel which has a minimum depth of 14.0 metres. Western Channel has a minimum depth of 5.0 metres. there is a well marked channel to Carrick Roads.
