A&P is committed to carrying out its activities in a safe, professional and ethical manner whilst paying particular attention to our clients’ requirements and operating in an environmentally responsible manner.

In order to maintain quality and prevent incidents or pollution, the company will ensure that effective systems and processes are implemented and employees combine safety, health, quality and environmental awareness with good working practices.

In pursuance of this policy our Company will:

• Provide the resources necessary to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of our employees and all the people affected by our operations.
• Maintain our management systems to BS OHSAS 18001, BS EN ISO 9001 and BS EN ISO 14001 where already in place throughout the group, and strive to achieve elsewhere in the group.
• Comply with and, where possible, exceed health, safety and environmental legislation, regulations, applicable legal and other requirements to which we subscribe.
• Provide and maintain safe plant, equipment and systems of work.
• Protect the environment in which we operate by minimising pollution in all its forms.
• Use materials and energy efficiently to minimise waste.
• Employ best practice to ensure contracts are completed to all requirements on time every time.
• Co-operate with the relevant authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure new developments have due regard for safety and environmental impacts.
• Provide information, instruction, training and supervision to all our employees to ensure that they properly discharge their responsibilities and duties, as well as produce quality work and deliver services which satisfy our clients.
• Continually improve in all essential areas and aspects of our business activities including health, safety, quality and environment.
• Regularly set objectives and targets to achieve continual improvement.
• Review our health, safety, quality and environmental performance and improvements.
• Encourage employee involvement in health, safety, quality and environmental action.
• Ensure that all our subcontractors manage their activities on behalf of A&P in line with this policy
