16th April 2008: Ice Maiden I - Offshore Flotel Vessel Conversion
A&P Tyne Ltd are pleased to be advised that they have been awarded the contract to carry out the conversion of a former ice breaking cargo vessel into a DP3 Flotel, accommodation vessel carrying up to 399 persons. Full Story31KB
3rd April 2008: European Seaway - Gearbox Exchange
A&P Falmouth recently won a contract from P&O Ferries to replace the port main propulsion
gearbox on the freight ferry European Seaway, the fifth time A&P Falmouth has exchanged main
engine gearboxes on this class of ferry. The vessel drydocked on 24th December 2007 and sailed

8th January 2008: A&P - partner of the Funchal 500 Tall Ships Regatta
A&P are partners of the exciting Funchal 500 Tall Ships Regatta. John Hick, Chairman of the Funchal 500 Tall Ships Regatta Falmouth stated; “Without this tremendous and continued support from A&P, the event would not be possible. 6th December 2007: A&P Tyne completes successful refit on RFA Fort Austin
A&P Tyne Ltd, part of A&P Group Ltd, has successfully completed the Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) refit contract on RFA Fort Austin for the UK Ministry of Defence. The vessel departed the yard and successfully completed sea-trials on 23rd November 2007. Full Story49KB

23rd May 2007: A&P Tyne - Africa Mercy
A&P Tyne Ltd has completed the conversion of a former Danish rail ferry into the worlds largest non governmental hospital ship. The Africa Mercy has been converted at A&P's Tyne facility and is now on passage to West Africa to commence operations.
