Byford Dolphin Fabrication Project
A&P secured the contract to fabricate a platform for an ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle).
The work was completed to the satisfaction of all the project stakeholders including the design company, the rig owners and the contractors.
Work consisted of 25te of structural steelwork and deck machinery seatings, blasted and painted to BP specification.
Throughout the duration of the project, all parties strived to ensure that a safe working environment was maintained. Once again, this safety first culture delivered excellent project safety performance
The contract was awarded and delivered on an extremely tight timescale.
The Wells Team Leader for the Byford Dolphin said, ‘My thanks go to the team at A&P – the guys did a great job in a tight timeframe – delivering on price and on schedule is not something we hear too often in the construction industry’. He continued, ‘If I hear of any future steel fabrication requirements on any of our projects, I’d be happy to recommend them’.
