Project: Gariep

Project involved lengthening of vessel by 12.8 metres with new 350 tonne mid-body, complete refurbishment of SOLAS systems, integration of 35 metre high drilling tower and associated mining systems. Complete removal of existing hull paint system and application of new system. Relocation and upgrading to existing helideck pad. Extensive structural modifications to allow integration of the drilling and process plant equipment. Re-coating of ballast tanks, major upgrade of existing and installation of new electrical, HVAC and piping systems.
