The Role

Supporting the Quality Manager to ensure that project manufacturing records are compiled and maintained throughout project lifecycle and progressive review and compilation of manufacturing record books is undertaken

Main Duties

Custodian for all project documentation and manufacturing record books:

  • Progressive MRB compilations
  • Review and approval of documentation for inclusion in MRB.
  • Control and maintain documentation registers, including project welding database.
  • Prior to client inspections, compile and forward evidence packs to client
  • Review documentation status against project status
  • Review notifications of inspections prior to submission to client to ensure details are correct and evidence of A&P completion is in place.
  • Review internal inspection requests ref correctness
  • Liaise with client for progressive sign off of manufacturing record books throughout project lifecycle
  • · Ensure all reports generated during manufacturing process are completed in timely manner, are totally legible and retained within the manufacturing record books.
  • · Ensure that the Weld/NDE (JMS) spread sheets are regularly updated with all the relevant information.
  • Compile and submit weekly status trackers (weld completion status, IF register, Notification tracker)

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience of compilation of quality documentation packages
  • Understanding of welding and NDE processes
  • Experience in maintaining weld registers
  • Experience with RCA (desirable)
