Commenting on her new role, Kathy said: “A&P and Cammell Laird’s key areas of focus include first and foremost the safety and health of all working within our organisation: the recruitment, retention and development of all our people, with specific focus on talent development and apprenticeship programmes which run across the group: sustainability, and end to end process management – sectors which I am extremely passionate about.”

“I have always had tremendous regard for both A&P and Cammell Laird. I am now looking forward to developing and implementing a transformational strategy which will enable A&P and Cammell Laird to remain powerful players not just in the UK, but across the globe.”

David McGinley, Chief Executive Officer said: “I am delighted to welcome Kathy as Group Business Improvement Lead.

“A&P and Cammell Laird will continue as two distinct brands however, by combining our strengths in certain areas, we will achieve greater success and continue to build sustainable businesses for the future.”
