A&P Group operates three facilities, A&P Tyne, A&P Tees and A&P Falmouth and is part of global shipbuilding and ship repair organisation, APCL Group.

A&P’s number one priority is to safeguard the safety and wellbeing of our staff, customers and sub-contractors. Our commitment to keeping each other safe lies at the heart of everything we do and every decision we make.

The RoSPA Health and Safety Awards is the largest occupational health and safety awards programme in the UK. Now into its 67th year, the Awards have almost 2,000 entries every year, covering nearly 50 countries and a reach of over seven million employees.

The programme recognises organisations’ commitment to continuous improvement in the prevention of accidents and ill health at work, looking at entrants’ overarching health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.

Kevin Peart, Group HSEQ Director, said: “This highly coveted award win is testament to the commitment we have placed on protecting the safety and wellbeing of our staff, customers and sub-contractors.

“We are delighted to have our efforts and commitment recognised by RoSPA five years in a row – and will continue to work hard to ensure Health and Safety remains at the forefront of our business.”
