GROUP RECRUITMENT MANAGER JOINS A&P.

Hilda McManus has been appointed Group Recruitment Manager at A&P Group.

With more than 25 years’ experience in recruitment, Hilda has worked across a range of sectors including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement and accountancy.

Hilda joins the company from Tharsus Group, where she operated both in house and with external partners and was responsible for recruitment across the group which included manufacturing, engineering, design and fabrication.

Previous positions include specialist procurement and supply chain recruitment as well as accountancy at Reed and generalist recruitment with Adecco.

In her new role at A&P, Hilda will be responsible for managing recruitment as part of an ambitious growth strategy which will support the company’s long term strategic goals.

Hailing from North Shields originally, Hilda said she is all too aware of the importance of the industry to local communities and beyond.

She said: “I’m excited that we've got a business with a really strong history, a business with some really good people.

“A&P is continuing to experience a period of growth and that’s something I have experience in, my former employer scaled significantly in a short period of time.”
